Jack Hunt School’s Presentation Evening was held on Tuesday 19 December 2023. 

Distinguished guests, governors, staff, parents and students were invited to the event with special guest speaker Joe Roebuck, Joe was ten times British Champion, double Commonwealth silver medalist, double European medalist and London 2012 Olympic semi-finalist.  His events are the 100m and 200m Butterfly and the 200m and 400m Individual Medley.  Recently retired from swimming.  Joe is now striving for success with his business, Swim Swift Elite.

A number of students received awards. Particular recognition goes to Jasmine Barnes, who won multiple awards, including the Barsby Trophy for the student who achieved the best GCSE results, the Mehta Trophy for showing promise in Science and the Dr Deboo MFL Award for outstanding achievement in a foreign language.

Musical performances by students throughout the evening were exceptional.  Along with a hugely entertaining number performed by the GCSE music students, guests were treated to a very special performance by Connie Levy in Year 8, who will be starring as Matilda in our school musical in March.

The event came to a close with a performance of Merry Christmas Everyone from the JHS Staff Band.
