On Wednesday 18 January 2017 Jack Hunt School showcased our musical talents to a class of Highlees Primary Students to help them with the music unit they are working on this month. The workshop began with an opening act by the school’s soul band, swiftly followed by a quick Q&A to let the primary school students become familiar with the instruments and performers.

After the first song the primary school students started to enjoy the music being played.  In between songs the students from Highlees Primary asked questions of the performers, in particular showing great interest in the instruments and how long it took to learn to play them. The students from Highlees Primary enjoyed the experience so much they wanted an encore! One member of the Soul Band said, “It was lovely to share our performance with such an enthusiastic audience."
