| You can check your childs attendance by logging in to the Firefly learning platform. Please notify us of any errors or supply a reason for absence as soon as possible. Jack Hunt School is committed to providing an education of the highest quality for all of its pupils/students and recognises that this can only be achieved by supporting and promoting excellent school attendance for all. This is based upon the belief that only by attending school regularly and punctually will children and young people be able to take full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them. High attainment depends on good attendance.
The image above is an example of a Firefly attendance chart. Each student at Jack Hunt School has one of these and parents/carers can view the attendance of their children. You can view an attendance record of each week and also see attendance by lesson. This is provided so there can be two way communication between the school and parents to ensure that students have as high an attendance as they can have and in turn, give them more opportunites to achieve.
