Forest School Embraces Autumn

Forest School Fun with Ms. Cliffe: Pumpkin Carving and Soup-Making!

Today at our in-house Forest School, led by Ms. Cliffe, students got into the autumn spirit by carving pumpkins and making delicious pumpkin soup! Set in the Forest School  ‘base camp’ – an outdoor classroom featuring an all weather shelter with wood burner, students not only honed their creative skills but also learnt important outdoor techniques, including lighting and cooking over a wood-burning stove.

The hands-on cooking session, where students learnt to prepare and cook the pumpkin soup, was a big hit. More than just a fun activity, Forest School helps students develop practical skills, enjoy fresh air, and boost their mental well-being through nature-based learning.

Forest School continues to be a special place of learning.
